Vienna Folk Marathon is a semi-informal meeting of young-ish folk/trad-musicians from many countries. A great opportunity to meet friends, jam, learn one or the other new tune or dance and spend an excellent time in Austria's capital!

After last year's great success with the 1st VFM, Vienna will once more buzz with sessions, workshops, concerts, dancing, general merriment and more - on 5 days and nights around New Year.

Some facts:
* several sessions, workshops, dancing, singing, a big party on New Year's Eve, plus a big concert...
* at different locations in Vienna: culture centers, pubs, instrument makers' workshops...
* both organised activities and free session spaces

there have been a couple of last minute reservations (don't let this get a habit! ;-) ): we will be quite a huge, happy crowd from 15 countries around the turn of the year.
